Plastic feedstock material is converted into liquid and gaseous products by applying heat to reach temperatures up to 500 °C inside the reactor. The hot product is cooled to ambient conditions where the condensable gases are collected in an oil collection drum and the non-condensable gases cleaned for end use applications.
The raw product oil can be used in multi fuel diesel engines and diesel or paraffin burners in industrial processes.
The product gas can be used as gas fuel for heating or electricity generation.
The carbon black can be compressed and used in coal fires.
